Medical Student Advisors has opened a new office in Amanzimtoti, South Africa. The company’s previous office on Durban’s North Beach is still open and South African regional manager will continue to work from there. Most of our international calls are routed there.
The premises in Amanzimtoti will be used as a Internet support centre and for training and accommodating traveling MSA team members.
Amanzimtoti is a seaside town south of Durban and provides an ideal relaxed environment. When King Shaka traveled along the coast during his reign, one of his attendants brought him some water from the river and he said, “A manzimtoti”, which means, “The waters taste sweet here”. These days there are a few factories up river so the water isn’t all that sweet anymore, yet the town is still charming and small enough to recognise faces and greet neighbours.
The move prepares MSA for our expansion into Argentina and South Africa. Within the next year MSA will be launching the study programs for Argentina and South Africa as well as options for those who would like to enter into non-medical courses.
